Activities

Our project duration is 24 months (M1-M24) and is organized into 6 Workstreams. Each Workstream has several work activities:

Workstream 0 : Management and coordination of the project (M1-M24)
A0.1: Scientific follow-up of the project (based on the kick-off meeting and the monthly internal project meetings)
A0.2: Coordination of the work team and partners (based on the 2 general project meetings in M8 and M16)
A0.3: Deliver the intermediary project report, documentation of project work and contracts
A0.4: Project management for the administrative and financial project details

Workstream 1 : Project deliverables and dissemination (M18-M24 and beyond)
A1.1: Finalization of the software tool for dissemination: the Directory DAPH-DIFF has contact information of actors in the DAPHNE community, bilingual (En/Fr) search engine and Web search
A1.2: Publication of specific project documents: final scientific report, summary report (En/Fr) 4 pages in length, a document with « preliminary conclusions » disseminated already in M18, a user manual for the Directory based on the dissemination plan from a project belonging to the priority axis n°5 concerning « field work targeting women in order to provide them with tools to protect themselves and others against violence »
A1.3: A CD-ROM containing all of the project deliverables
A1.4 : All project deliverables will also be available for download on a specific web site hosted by the project leader NEB

Workstream 2 : Face to face interviews with DAPHNE project partners and analysis of dissemination challenges (M2-M6)
A2.1 : Definition of project scope
A2.2 : Face to face interviews with DAPHNE project partners (analysis of strengths and weaknesses of dissemination, improvement methods) with a minimum of 3 project partners and 4 Member States as partners. Feedback from the Commission on the output.
A2.3: Synthesis of the challenges in dissemination of project deliverables within a DAPHNE project

Workstream 3 : Collection of contents for the Directory DAPH-DIFF (M5-M16)
A3.1: Establish the framework of the Directory with descriptors and the nomenclature
A3.2: Acquisition of pertinent information already available in the Toolkit DAPHNE: addresses and their characteristics
A3.3: Collection of contact information at national level from DAPHNE project partners to complete the Directory such as ministries, national institutions and NGOs from the EU27)
A3.4: Specific requests for collection of contact information at the European level amongst networks and European organisations linked to the DAPHNE programme
A3.5: Acquisition of contact information of journalists covering this topic within the major European media networks in the EU27

Workstream 4 : Developing the Directory DAPH-DIFF, Web search tool and testing (M9-M16)
A4.1: Version 1 of the Directory organisation and Web application for DAPH-DIFF
A4.2: Version 2 of the Directory organisation and Web application DAPH-DIFF and module for updating
A4.3: Testing of the Beta version with groups of potential users from the following countries: AT, PT, LV and FR
A4.4: Corrective actions as needed and availability of the final software

Workstream 5 : Implementation of the Directory DAPH-DIFF (M17-M24)
A5.1: Analysis of the contents of the new dissemination Directory: quantitative and qualitative approach
A5.2: Directory now meets the priority axis 5: « field work targeting women in order to provide them with tools to protect themselves and others against violence »
A5.3: Release of the Directory to sites such as Toolkit, NEB, and to other NGOs and referencing (Google, Yahoo, etc.)
